Welcome Care & Support

Funding & Costs

Understanding how care is funded can feel overwhelming. Here we outline the main options in England so you can see what might apply to you or your loved one.

We’ll provide clear information about our fees once we understand your requirements. If you have questions about funding, we can discuss them in confidence and point you to further advice where needed.

Self-funding

Many people pay for their own care. If you fund your care privately, you have more choice over the type and level of support you receive. We'll provide clear information about our fees after we understand your requirements. You can arrange care directly with us—no need to go through the local authority.

Local authority funding

Your local authority may contribute to or fund your care after a care needs assessment. Contact your council's adult social care team to request an assessment. If you're eligible for support, the council may fund care directly or offer a direct payment so you can choose your provider. We're happy to work with local authority arrangements where our services are a good fit.

NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC)

NHS Continuing Healthcare is a package of care for adults with significant ongoing health needs, fully funded by the NHS. Eligibility is determined by a multidisciplinary assessment. If you or your loved one might qualify, speak to your GP or healthcare team. We can provide care as part of a CHC package where our registration and specialisms align with the agreed care plan.

Eligibility and advice

Eligibility for funded care depends on your circumstances, assets, and needs. We can discuss your situation in confidence and, where we cannot assist directly with applications, we can point you to independent advice (e.g. council adult social care, Citizens Advice, or specialist care funding advisers).

Contact us for a confidential conversation about your situation and how we can help.
